NFL 2017 Draft Day 3

Well Trojan fans the needle just moved but not until the fourth round for the third Trojan picked this year. Zach Banner went #137 to the Indianapolis Colts. Probably a good overall position for Zach considering. Now we await where the remaining Trojans on the bubble will go. Chad Wheeler will most likely be next.

As we go through Round 5 will we see Darreus Rogers emerge? How about Michael Hutchings? One of my favorites is Justin Davis. A true and loyal Trojan Football player. He could have left when things were bleak but like so many others he stayed the course and worked tirelessly to better the program and represent. Hoping he gets his shot as a draftee.

Leon McQuay III has a home somewhere in the NFL. Kid made some amazing plays over his career and who will forget the Rose Bowl. Hoping he gets his shot!

Damian Mama a great kid but to be honest I didn’t see this move to leave early as a wise decision. He has the physicality but lacks that complete game and athletically he was definitely exposed during the combine drills. One more year would have clearly helped his stock. No one knows each players situation and sometimes its just time and logic is of no use. We wish Damian and his family well.

Stevie Tu’kolovatu has to be one of the best stories of 2016. Sleeping in his car while he waited for his paperwork and scholarship to kick in. A man amongst the youth. He was such a powerful inspiration on the field and in the locker room. Lets not forget Tom Brady’s draft day experience! He turned out ok.
