USC Football vs ASU

USC hosts the Arizona State Sun Devils tomorrow at the Coliseum.  J.T. Daniels did not get cleared following his concussion received on a tough hit in the Utah game.  In that same game, back up QB Matt Fink injured three ribs on another solid but hard hit in relief.  One tough kid, Fink!  So now we go to someone that when he first got here I thought for sure he would replace Sam Darnold.  He had that look he had the right credentials.  Jack Sears seemed to possess that something special one day soon look.  Sometimes it doesn’t quite work out as planned in sports and for Jack he wasn’t able to climb the latter well enough to secure the starting position over true freshmen J.T. Daniels.

The ASU football team is a few points away from quite the year.  They will present a great challenge for a USC Football team that is clearly still trying to figure out who they are. A coach and coaching staff that can’t buy a break and is seemingly unsure of its playbook and what to do at times.  The Sun Devils have a chance to stop the streak at home that Coach Clay Helton has been building since taking over the program.  He has to defend the house tomorrow.  He cannot lose this game.  As luck would have it he may have that spark albeit it came to the gate in a way that usually doesn’t happen.

Jack Sears has a chance to write his story tomorrow.  Imagine the headlines when he changes the game with his running ability or his strong arm.  This one has all the makings of a Hollywood story.  I for one cannot wait. Always thought this kid had something to show and now on a big stage it’s all his.  I usually don’t put future scores on the blog but Im going to for this one.

USC 34 v ASU 20

Good Luck Jack!

Fight On!
